How to choose your coffee grinder ?

In depends on the kind of use (bar/shop),

and the kind of coffee (espresso/filter)

1) For a bar,  restaurant, hôtel : for making good coffee

The fresh grinding is the key of a good coffee.
The grinder must be in function of your coffee machine (espresso or filter coffee), then ground coffee can be directly collected into the coffee (portafilter or brew basket).

        a) For espresso :

The espresso grinder will give the perfect dose of "fine espresso grinding" in your filterholder (7gr for 1 cup, 14 gr for 2 cups, adjustable).
Suitable appliance are #40A, #55 or #60

- #40A is the reference in Europe for 15 years now, being very silent. Ground coffee is poured in the dispenser, grinding stops automatically when the dispenser is full, grinding starts automatically while the doses are dispensed.

- #55 is fully automatic : no handle, no dispenser : coffee freshly ground in the filter holder.

- #60 is the new generation of silent grinder, with more output, and a removable dispenser which can be set on other bases : tabletop #56 or wall-mounted #57

        b) For filter coffee :

The portion grinder will give the perfect dose of coffee ini your brew basket (adjustable)
Suitable appliance is #42

2) For a coffee shop, coffee roaster : for selling freshly ground coffee

In a shop, you need to collect the coffee into a drawer, or a bag.

- Drawer : Suitable appliance is #01

- Bag : Suitable appliances are #04, #43

3) Other appliances : The removable universal dispenser

You can use a coffee dispenser, such as #56 (table top) or #57 (wall-mounted), for dispensing the espresso dose (adjustable from 5.5 to 9.5 g, usual is 7g)

- #56 table top coffee dispenser

- #57 wall-mounted coffee dispenser

On these 2 appliances, the dispensing device is common to the "Pratik" espresso grinder #60, and is removable, what means that you can grind and dispose different types of coffee with 1 single grinder combined with additionnal dispensers.
